Thanks for this video review. I enjoyed it. I have not read Loving but have seen some reviews of it. It sounds sort of like the book Manservant and Maidservant by Ivy Compton-Burnett, which was mostly dialogue that was hard to follow and portrayed some very strange relationships. Like what you describe, it was somewhat tortuous to read but sort of grew on me as I slowly figured out who was who and what was happening... But I am reluctant to start another book like that...
