The 2013 Hundie Challenge #44: To Katie With Love

Next up in our little RAP love-in cul-de-sac:

TO KATIE WITH LOVE by Erica Lucke Dean

Okay, before I get into anything else, I've really been enjoying coming up for taglines for my friends' books, so here goes:

TO KATIE WITH LOVE is like THE ENGLISHMAN WHO WENT UP A HILL BUT CAME DOWN A MOUNTAIN, except instead of the Englishman it's a banker woman and instead of the hill it's a client and instead of the mountain it's an assassin.

Nailed it!

Full disclosure: Erica Lucke Dean has asked me both to write directly for her blog and to contribute important, cutting edge research.  I'm a big fan of her work and she is my best imaginary author friend (although she claims that since we've now met in real life, it should just be "best author friend" but that seems like a big step.)  And even though TKWL is a romance and as a straight male by all rights the most romantic thing I should ever have read was Dr. Zhivago, I nevertheless wholethroatedly recommend this book.  Women will love it and men will enjoy it (though they may prefer to get the Kindle copy for subway purposes.)

Anyway, you can check out an excerpt here.

And the back book copy here.

And for all the places to buy it click here.

Oh, and bonus this week: The TKWL book trailer!

  1. This is by far my favorite review of all. But that's because it comes from my favorite "imaginary" author friend, who isn't so imaginary anymore. And FYI, Dr. Zhivago totally puts a wrinkle in your man card...just saying.

    1. Ah, I'm afraid your mistaken. The Russian Revolution should have been called the "Grab Your Balls and Sack up or Die Revolution." There is nothing manlier than balling your way through that. And thanks for reading!
